A selection of recent projects for Burt Brothers /Carlton St Trading
In 2026, Burt Brothers approached us to design, install, and manage a high-demand network for their new apartment building, Oracle, located in the heart of Nottingham.
This development features 50 self-contained apartments. To meet the requirements, we installed individual WiFi access points in each apartment, providing both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi, along with multiple Ethernet points. Strategically placed switches are connected using fibre optic cables back to the router
The building is supported by a 10Gb/sec fiber optic leased line, initially operating at 1Gb/sec, which can be upgraded in the future without replacing equipment. Additionally, we oversee the network's daily operations, including firmware updates and the network rollout for new residents. We utilized Draytek products and the Draytek ACS3 Management system for this project.
In 2023, Burt Brothers sought a robust network solution for their new apartment complex, Felix, located in heart of Nottingham.
This development features 68 self-contained apartments along with a public study area.
To meet these demands, we installed individual WiFi access points in each apartment, providing both 2.4GHz and 5GHz connections, as well as multiple Ethernet points . Strategically placed switches are connected using fibre optic cables back to the router.

In 2022, Carlton St Trading needed a robust network for their new Zephyr apartment complex in Nottingham's Sneinton Market, which consists of 44 self-contained apartments across two buildings divided by a road.
To meet this demand, we installed individual WiFi access points in each apartment, providing both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi, along with multiple Ethernet ports.
The buildings are interconnected via optic cables running beneath the road, with switches strategically placed.
The network is supported by a 10Gb/sec fibre optic leased line, initially operating at 1Gb/sec but designed to scale up as needed without replacing equipment.
Additionally, we oversee the daily management of the network, including firmware updates and on boarding new residents.

In 2022, Carlton St Trading needed a network for their new project, The Old Library in Nottingham, which features 14 self-contained apartments.
